In a surprising partnership that challenges usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a secret sect.
The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Transformations
The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the prisoner, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the mission will receive an unique katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
